Hearing rumors of a social media post from Coach Dantzler alluding to him stepping away from the job at Central.

I've now had two separate individuals send me this picture, saying that it was posted by Marvin Dantzler on his own Facebook account.

Coach Dantzler was hired at Louisville Central in 2017 after the departure of head coach Ty Scroggins, who led the Yellow Jackets to 7 state finals appearances and 5 state championships in his 10 seasons as head coach. Dantzler cam from Patterson High School in his home state of Louisiana, where he was head football coach for one season after having spent four seasons as head coach at Booker T. Washington High School in Oklahoma.

In his 6 seasons as head coach at Central, Dantzler has posted a 54-22 record as head coach, with state semifinals appearances in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022, and a 3A state championship win in 2018.

I don't know about y'all, but I don't say "it's been a good run" when I'm preparing to hang around and continue my "run".

If Central comes open, that's a jobbbbb right there!

Contract negotiation? If so, the passive-aggressive approach is certainly ... a choice. ?

JCPS coaches are paid per union contract so not negotiable. I guess if he works for JCPS could try and get a administrator position but I would be surprised if that's what this is about.

Thank you for this. I thought it might be different for coaching positions there.
