I guessing he will break his own record before he leaves.

Lots of folks are talking about Lyon County's Perry in terms of breaking Coleman's all-time KY HS scoring record, and rightly so.  He should do it very late this season or very early next.

But isn't Reed also on pace to do so before he's done?

If he does, he will equal or surpass the Augusta (not Bracken County) mark of 60 set many years ago by an old golfing buddy.

Who is it, if it's not Bach, I have no idea?

I honestly don't know.

Blake Reed has 2,881 career points.

If averages 25 ppg for the rest of his junior year and all of his senior year and stays healthy, he will break King Kelly Coleman’s record of 4,337.  But Travis Perry I think will end up being the leader when it’s all said and done.

How many years will that be for these guys and how many for King Kelly Coleman?

Coleman played way fewer years for sure, maybe just three.  These two guys got points as 8th graders, maybe a few in the 7th but I don’t know without going to Riherds.

Perry led Lyon County at over 20 ppg as a 7th grader.

Both juniors, Perry is in his 5th season, Reed his 4th.

The "KHSAA Basketball Record Book" seems inconsistent in how it lists a season, e.g. a single season might be listed as 1953 or 1953-54. I think Coleman's total covers 4 seasons 1952-53 to 1955-56 (see screenshots below). The Scoreboard site denotes seasons with a slash "2022/23." ?
