Kentucky kids who made it to the NFL

Featured Replies

Thought it might be fun to try and compile a list of kids from Kentucky High Schools who made it to the NFL over the last 25 years or so. Those are the ones I can remember, I'm sure there are more.

Shaun Alexander, Tim Couch, Jerad Lorenzen, Frank Moreau, Craig Yeast, Jason Dunn, Dennis Johnson, Todd Perry, Billy Lyon, Marty Moore, David Akers, Travis Prentice, Chris Redman, Rashad Holeman, Tony Driver, Dean Wells, and Rob Bironas.

Abney was drafted by the ravens in the 6th or 7th round. Didn't see much of him though.

And Mr. Beach looked ready to play at the AIT. I've said it since he was at Ashland "He's special". If he doesn't end up on Green Bay's roster next year he'll find his way on another team:ylsuper:

I think Abney is with the Chicago Bears. he has been injured but has been kept on the roster.

I believe he went to high school in Wisconsin.

He is one of my all time favorites from UK.

Are you serious? Did Paul Hornung play in he NFL? Hornung had a very successful career in the NFL. A career that ended in a trip to Canton.
