Per the Cov Cath announcers, it was a running clock win for the Colonels.

Could have easily been 40+ subs were in early.

Evan Ipsaro led Cov Cath with 20 points and 7 assists.

Sophomore point guard Jay Bilton and senior forward Gabe Dynes each had 16 points to lead Simon Kenton in scoring.

Ouch!

It doesn't look like the prototypical CCH team but they get after it and can shoot.  

 

Hussey's D on Krohman was like fly paper.  Ipsaro is so impressive, love his ability to lift and ?.  The Colonel frosh is going to score quite a few.

That’s how this team will look most of the year, quick and shifty which helps them keep everybody in front on defense. Then offensively it’s just so spread out, and 3-4 elite shooters. It’s super tough to guard with someone like Evan operating the floor. I knew the younger McGillis would play but not start and play that well, he will be a joy to watch for awhile.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical on Cov Cath coming into the year but after watching them yesterday they have to be the best team in NKY by a pretty wide margain at this time.
