For what it’s worth SK got the win by 11.

How do you figure, when the contest consisted of two halves?

Buddy sent me a stat sheet, because I was curious, especially since I have been high on HC in other posts.

Dynes 10p 7r 3b

Gibson 5p 8r 2b

Looks like Meyer for HC and Krohman for SK stole the show.  Meyer with 40 and Krohman with 36.

Pretty common numbers for two big guys.

SK won the 1st half by 16. HC won the 2nd half by 5.

That doesn't hold much when coaches are experimenting with different line ups.

Yes correct. Which is why in the post I said “for what it’s worth”. I just put it out there. I’m not saying it’s super important.

People never notice how the best teams out there don’t have any issues with entry passes. Cov Cath can always feed a big.

Unless playing in the state semi-finals!

Today both Gabe and Sam played as expected in my opinion.

I'll say the battle was a toss up.

Meyer should have been in the fifties, considering the number of shots he took.  It's going to be hard for HC to beat any decent teams with this one man approach.

how many did he take?

This should be expected he took nearly 800 shots of the teams 1900 attempts last year. This won’t change this year! HC will go as far as Jake Meyer takes them. I will add this there are some will argue he should shoot more and with his overall field goal percentage maybe he should.

I thought they both played solid games. Personally I would give Dynes the edge in the overall matchup.

I didn't actually count them, but way too many.

I just saying one guy won't beat 5 guys very often.

SK Junior G Travis Krohman was the best player on the court today.  Meyer is the better scorer, but Krohman was very active in SK’s offense.  He moves well without the ball, he knows how to utilize screens, and when he gets open he can knock down shots from distance.  He has a nice touch.  Meyer is a better 1 v 1 player, but Krohman is more skilled all around in the team setting and in the flow of their offense.  Krohman should average around 20-25 ppg this season.  SK was a completely different team without him on the court.  JMO

Also, I thought Gibson would have been in foul trouble if this were a regular game.  The refs must have tagged him for 4 to 6 fouls, easily, maybe more.

I agree with this statement! Travis was terrific and efficient! SK does a really nice job structuring offense around him! He’s going to have a nice year!
