I guess I jumped the gun. I forgot that after the first two rounds, the brackets are according to RPI. BE will have to play at even a higher level to eliminate Manual. Of which they are capable of doing. So they need to take care of business the next two games, stay healthy, stay humble and continue to work hard every day in practice. Nothing is given, but everything is earned. LET'S GO CHARGERS!!!

I think they matchup well with Manual. Bullitt East has good passing attack and the weak spot of Manual defense is the secondary.

Last thing I will say about the Male/BE game.  I was glad it was a clean game with very few flags.  Also, neither team turned it over.  Great game to watch as it came down to who made more plays when needed.  Also I think it's safe to say the BE did not get outcoached.  Coach Wolfe is very well respected in Ky and rightly so.  His name comes up anytime a program that is considered to be at a high level has an opening.  Male definitely had more experience in big game situations and as a whole.  But I thought the Bullitt East staff held their own.   Yardage was 459 to 335 in favor of the Chargers.  

Victories are short lived.  Time to worry about Oldham and then Butler in the first round.

I agree 100%. It was a great game to watch. The fact that BE had zero turnovers and stuck to their game plan on Offense were huge. Adding Egan, Brogan and Davenport was huge on the Defensive side of the ball. That hit Egan had was one of the best I have seen in awhile. Everyone in the program Believed they could win this game and they went out and proved it. Coach Kendrick was on top of his game as well. Now kids have to stay humble and continue to work hard each day to continue to improve. Should be an exciting ride for the next few weeks.
