January 8, 200719 yr Hopefully this side of TO is here for good but I'm not convinced yet. As far as the drops comment, I seriously hope it wasn't from a Bengals/Chad Johnson fan (I am a fan of both teams and always have been), because he is the usual league leader in dropped balls, and unless I am wrong TO has been playing with a broken hand. I just hope that he continues to behave himself.

January 8, 200719 yr Actually the report I saw said that he re-injured it but you could be right. Also, I was just pointing out that just because he had drops doesn't mean he isn't a good receiver.
January 8, 200719 yr T.O. and the word "class" don't belong in the same sentence. If he remains a Cowboy, lets see how long it takes him to bash Romo next year when he isn't getting the ball thrown his way, or the Cowboys are having a rough go of it. T.O. is about T.O. and anyone who has watched this embarrassment of a professional athlete knows that.
January 8, 200719 yr TO may be a bad teammate and a loud mouth, but I have a hard time not liking him due to his passion for the game & competitiveness. He definitely goes overboard at times, but I too wish the media would back off of him some. There are better stories in the NFL than what TO said at breakfast. TO won't get over TO until the media and NFL fans get over TO.

January 9, 200719 yr Owens showed a lot of class in his interview, and instead of downing the situation like he would have in the past, he actually extended support out to Romo and the rest of the team. He didn't even place any blame at all on Romo, and that is what sealed the deal in another side of T.O. we haven't saw. By in the past you mean 2 weeks ago. I saw the interview and T.O. did take the high road this time, for once in his career. I don't doubt Owens' ability when he is on his game but he is a cancer to any team he is on. It is my wish he is cut from the Cowboys and every other team in the NFL has wised up and his playing days are over.

January 10, 200719 yr  Yeah, T.O. had nothing to do with it. You're right, he had plenty to do with it. My point is that the media takes his antics and puts it in our every waking moment. I'm tired of T.O. and like another poster said, I hope the Cowboys cut him and noone else signs him.

He could be gone from the Cowboys but no matter what problems he has, he is to gifted a player not to be picked up by another NFL team. Might not be a smart idea because of his mental game but his physical game outweighs it by just a small enough margin to play.

You mean TO actually did something most every other NFL player has the sense to do? He DIDN'T throw his team under the bus? WOW!!! Let's give him credit for doing something the way it SHOULD be done!!!! He did what nearly every other player does on a consistent basis...he'll screw up soon enough dont worry...
January 13, 200719 yr It's about time! This does not make up for a lifetime achievement award for being a jerk.
