Brossart lost it in the second quarter, lost by 16 that quarter. Setty can shoot the rock... Tonight didn't look like Brossart at all.

Setty had a nice night, but Middleton was still under the weather and didn't do a whole bunch. Brossart is a very good team and can still make noise this year. Kidney didn't handle the pressure from the press very well, still a little unproven.

Darius Miller didn't have such a great game because Brossart's Jimmy Uebel didn't step down to him. Yes, Uebel fouled out but he left his heart on the court tonight. He player really good defense and contained one of the best offensive players in the state. Great job on the defense tonight boys, I'm talking both sides. Brossart's effort was there, and it will always be there. Just didn't have shots falling, convert on Mason miscues, and lots of turnovers. Wouldn't surprise me if Brossart ended up with 20 turnovers tonight, which is very uncharacteristic for a Brossart team. IMO, this game was over at halftime, but Brossart had opportunities to get back in it in the second half. Those opportunities were met with turnovers and missed shots followed by more of the same.

Kidney IS NOT unproven...

 

 

I agree Striker. I have seen him play multiple times over the past couple of years and he is a quality guard. He maybe just had a bad game as all players do from time to time.

I have watched this team play twice. In both games, I have seen your players hammer and bang us to death and call nothing. We get a touch foul and end it with players on the bench. I don't know why they call it that way. i just wish it would be the same on both ends. Even 1 of the officals have called both games. He did the same way both nights. Don't misunderstand be, I am not saying you don't have a great team. I just don't understand why officals are favoring your big guys?

Really?:confused: Officials get together before the game and they tell each other, "Let's favor Brossart's big guys, we will call nothing on them." Do they do that for real?

Brossart really had 7-8 "set shot 3's". They didn't just pack it in. Mason's pressure defensse tonight was very good! Tonight, Brossart saw the #1 team in the state. Its a shame that Mason wasn't playing defense like that in the 5/3 Classic. I think their would have been a different champion in that tournament if they did.
