Maybe I should have just stayed out of that one. I must have been confused on what was being questioned. I thought we were talking about BB complaining about the refs. I didn't know that you meant refs causing the end result in the game, not just complaining. So, yes, you are correct on saying that no one said the refs caused BB to lose. But, yes I was correct in saying that BB announcers were complaining, and that had been brought up in a previous post. :confused:

Actually, it is true. I have talked to several people about the game, and they have all said the same thing. He did not shake hands, and made it seem as if he had no intention of doing so. It was deliberate. It really upset the fans, and not just the Mason fans. Someone told me that a few BB fans were upset that he didn't do it and stayed around after the game talking with some Mason fans about it.

I can' t imagine why Brossart's announcers were complaining about the refs, they got by with a lot of fouls down in the paint (Cooper). At one point Setty had 3 guys laying on top of him and no foul was called. Mason County played their best defensive game of the season and it is about time!!!

 

Highfield was correct the coach is a small guy (size wise) and I don't recall his name either. He was however complaining to the refs at every opportunity. At times Pawsat couldn't breathe without a foul being called and Middleton was almost tackeled on several occasions with no fouls called.

I heard it on the radio too. I won't speculate on something like that without seeing it first hand. People like to blow stories out of proportion.:thumb:

I thought Mason would win this one but not by this much. It will be hard for Bishop to overcome this when they might meet in regional play. I think this may narrow the 10th region from 3-4 teams to just Mason and GRC.IMO

Geez, I can't even wish your team luck without you getting upset about it. I didn't know a loss would effect you that way....... its only a high school basketball game after all........

I agree with you at this point uk96. Clark and Mason are the teams to beat. That doesn't mean there won't be an upset come March, stranger things have certainly happened, but they are the cream of the crop right now.

Don't worry, we know you didn't make it up. It really did happen. Sometimes people don't like to believe things when it comes to their team and or coaches doing the wrong thing. Don't worry about it. Those who don't believe will soon be a believer when their own confirm it! :thumb:
