This class 3A District 3 matchup should be a dandy. I will go with District 3 preseason favorite Bardstown in this one.

I’m going with Etown. I think these teams are pretty evenly matched I just feel like the Panthers get the win. Let’s have a cat battle.

I’m taking Etown 35-21. Bardstown has some nice players but I think Etown is the better team.

What’s Hainer’s status?

I'm taking the Tigers in a dandy of a game 35-34

Lotta factors here. I agree it’ll be tight. Conditioning. Only Bardstown has played a game where starters went 4 quarters. Experience. E-Town has more seniors. Injuries, illnesses, etc. Unknown. Fresh reserves. Bardstown defense has a bunch, Panther offense has a bunch. This is a game where the special teams play could be the difference.

Hainer is out for the season

That is unfortunate for the young man and the team.  Would have been nice to develop him his junior year and have the multi-talented Gregory available to pass catch.

Yes. Hate it for him. He suffered a pretty significant injury at the beginning of his sophomore year that put him out for 6-7 games as well. Hoping he can have a full recovery and stay injury free. He's a pretty good baseball player as well.

We'll have a better handle on where E-Town stands in the pecking order of 3A after this week. So far, they've beaten N. Bullitt and Meade - bigger schools, but not very good - and an extremely green John Hardin club.

I always think of these two playing each other close, but surprisingly, 10 of the last 13 meetings have been decided by three scores or more.

Pregame and QB Ryder Gregory is in street clothes. Looks like the panthers will be on QB3 for this huge game tonight.

Several different guys throwing in warmups so not sure who they will roll with

32 Soph Will Clark under Center. Fumble on the 1st handoff sets the Tigers up with short yardage

Bardstown strikes first 7-0

Bardstown obviously needs volunteers. Game got delayed to start with no chain crew. Now with Etown on offense play has had to be stopped 4 times for clock issues

Play clock not working either. This is pitiful
