After all it is Student first and athlete second or at least that’s the way it should be.

Russell Middle is 2-0 in 7th and 8th grade . 1-0 in 6th. Russell actually has a Frosh team this year as well. They haven’t had a team in a couple years.

I think everyone might be jumping to conclusions. I can’t imagine they would cancel a series over losing one game. There are probably lots of reasons behind this decision including the RPI. But bottom line is any team has the right to schedule any team they want teams cancel series all the time it’s just part of it.

Russell takes Both Academics and Athletics seriously.

My brother said coach Marsh listed exactly what he expected the kids to adhere too

1. Church

2. Family

3. School

4. Football

I guess this is the reason they stopped playing Ironton also?

No Ironton stopped the Russell series. That was on Ironton and not Russell.

I appreciate the information.  I was really only trying to lighten this topic up since Ironton's colors are orange and black.
