Pikeville at Paintsville Predictions/Updates

Pikeville comes into this matchup at 0-2 on the seasons with tough losses against 3A Corbin and 5A Covington Catholic. This is the first time since 2009 that the Panthers have started the season at 0-2. The Panthers will be very hungry and may come out and make a statement in this one.

Paintsville comes into this matchup at 1-1 on the season. Paintsville went on the road last week and was smacked in the mouth as Beechwood brought the pain and sent the Tiger packing back home with a 46–7 loss. Paintsville will have to regroup as another juggernaut awaits in the defending Class 1A Champs come to town. 
 

Who wins this Class 1A showdown? Does Pikeville flex its muscles and give Paintsville its 2nd straight loss? Does Paintsville shock the 1A world and steal one and make the Panthers 0-3 on the season?

Pikeville flexes this week. They'll remind everyone why they're still #1 in 1A, despite being 0-2. I think Birchfield goes off behind a dominating display from his offensive line.
