I have always said it I would love for the series to start back up with Pikeville. Two great powerhouse programs who have so much respect for each other!

If Beechwood wants the long road trip, Pikeville is probably the best option in eastern Kentucky.

If they are going to play a Class A school this is the team they should play.

Did Robinson play for Beechwood tonight? Also, how is the Alexander boy doing? Playing O/D line I presume?

Both played well. Robinson showed some of his stuff on two touchdown runs and he is of course top notch at CB. Alexander recovered a fumble on defense, made some tackles and is starting on o-line. Beechwood rotates players on defensive line to keep guys fresh so Alexander is in the rotation on defense.

As I think about this, I don't see Belfry or Johnson Central because of the offense they run. Beechwood isn't going to see anyone in the playoffs with that type of offense so no need to prep against it.

That’s a great point. I saw the JC scrimmage a few years back and boy was that fun to see the physicality.

I agree with VoR, if I were Beechwood I wouldn't want any part of JC or Belfry, too physical and frankly too basic to do Beechwood any good.

Away at Somerset.
