This is Crossing's first game as a ranked team. GC gets it done and continues building toward the big one on 9/30. 

Oryend Fisher lived in the North Oldham backfield last year.

The defenses appear to be the clear strong suits for both teams....North struggled with only 104 total offensive yards in game 1 but the D scored twice in last week's 21-7 win over Carroll County....GC's offense put up 60 in game 1, but got a lot of "gifts" to help from Western Hills.   The defense, meanwhile, manhandled the Wolverines.

Warhawks should be the favorites, as North still works through the rebuilding process, but the Mustangs are starting to come around under 2nd year coach Jamie Brown.    Nice-looking coaching staff in Goshen, and things will eventually get traction there.   

Liam Hutson (NO) is just an insane playmaker on defense; Mustangs got their first score in 2021 on a Hutson pick-6, and they opened 2022 with another Hutson pick-6 last week....

Line play may be pivotal; North is very inexperienced up front and smaller than the Warhawks.    

Key for the Warhawks is to play keep-away from a ball-hawking North defense and to use their size advantage.

North needs to show they can string together enough first downs to help out the defense.
