Yes large numbers of Middle School baseball players during the fall. Baseball is year round and killing football in the fall.

This is the part of how sports have changed that I hate the most.  All sports now can be played and maybe I should say are pressured to play year around now.  That didn't use to be the case.  Many sports numbers are down at various schools because of this, especially football.

In McCracken more specificity it is harder to untangle because the baseball numbers didn’t boom until the middle school football program really feel off a cliff.  

The Purples will make a struggling MC purple.

Well, the QB at Paducah Tilghman left McCracken as he supposedly was being overlooked under Coach Clark. Coach Clark also left as he just didn't get the Mustangs winning. I'm sure MCC is saving money by not having the additional expenses.  I just believe they are shooting themselves in the foot. Although, the brand new turf field at Lone Oak middle school it top notch!!

They currently have okay numbers in their middle school teams around 40 kids on each team (7th & 8th). I just believe those numbers should double to feed a 6A team. 

It was and continues to be a huge mistake. Combined little league in some grades as well. Never able to build the numbers or depth of a 6A program.
