Berger 11yd run for TD.  14-0 Beechwood, 5:15 3rd

14-0 Beechwood, End of 3rd.  Varsity done for the night.  Berger had around 125-150 rushing yards.  Robinson played wildcat a couple more plays.  Good showing by Beechwood.  Moved the ball well in 3rd.

70 yard Run by Flaherty to start JV.  20-0 Beechwood.  20 minute running clock in JV.

20-0 Beechwood, final.  Freshman up next.  10-10-10-10 format to end the night.  No more updates.

Looks like Beechwood, is still Beechwood. Losing the QB is never good, but the defense held tough and are proving to be at the focal point of this team, as expected. Hope it’s a safe, and speedy recovery as we would love to not have to move people around. It is what it is. Best of luck to both teams this year!

Harney, is a freshman.  Played 3Q, JV and now Freshman.  Kid ran the offense well with Varsity and JV.  Mobile, bootlegs, got him in space to create separation and make reads.

This was during JV.  O’Hara the Varsity QB wore a gold jersey.  #6 Freshman Drew Hartman ran JV.

Antonio is a super nice young man. Regardless of what happens on the football field, I think this is going to be a great experience for him and for Beechwood.

The Cooper expectations for this year are valid. I thought the Jaguars looked good last night. Lonaker and Harmeyer are top tier defensive players. Eli White is a very good back. They had a freshman at QB (Cam O'Hara) and he did a nice job overall. Austin Alexander is a good young player. Mason Stanton is another sophomore who played well. A lot of good young players on the Cooper roster. That sophomore class looks very good. I think they are a top 10 5A team this year and might be for the next couple years.
