Open Job: Clinton County

Longtime coach Todd Messer announced his resignation. He was the coach from 2006-2022 and went 314-166 during that span. His 314 wins is 3rd most in the 4th region during that time frame.

Todd Messer has resigned from the position.  He has been the coach since 2006.  He helped turn Clinton Co. into one of the most consistent programs in the 4th Region.

He left the door open to coaching somewhere else in the future.  He mentioned "it was time to go" from Clinton.  I would think it would be hard to find a better gig...He's a principal at their alternative school, but on the other hand it has to be trying going up against BG or WC every year in region tourney.

The 4th Region is almost impossible to win for the surrounding county schools. You can have success in the All "A" at Clinton County, though. He's done very well at Clinton but I can understand the desire to potentially take a different coaching job in the future if he so chooses.
