Congratulations to the Xavier Musketeers as they are the 2022 NIT Champs!

In a game that was mostly close throughout that came down to the wire, Nunge banked in a close range shot with 3.1 left on the clock, and the Aggies' last desperate attempt didn't drop.

Very entertaining game.  Nip and tuck for the last ten minutes at least. 

Two teams will end the season happy, and X will be one of them. 

Great game! Xavier and A&M really battled. Congratulations from a grad school alum Musketeers.

I really thought Xavier was getting jobbed by the refs at the end. Every drive to the basket by A&M, XU gets called for a foul. XU drives to the basket with A&M players all over them and no whistle. I think A&M's last 7 points were all free throws. A&M did not score a basket from the floor the 3:45 of the game. 

I was 16 in 1958 when Xavier won the NIT . My dad dropped to his knees when the game was over.I was hooked and have been an huge fan ever since. Thanks Muskies for the win tonight.

I thought it was a sub-par performance by the refs and as an X fan I thought we got the short end of the stick.

Piontek and boothe were good players at Xavier however were not on the 1958 team.
