I'm not making excuses.  Just providing more of the narrative of the season.

Many have questioned what happened to Kellen Grady, who was killing it and shooting 45% on the season.  Well, there's your answer.

That is not the answer. What happened to Grady is teams made sure he didn't get open looks on 3's and Grady had no response. He wasn't able to attack the basket nor score off the dribble. Teams didn't care if Grady got by them and drove to the basket. 

The bottom line is UK did not have the talent to be a final four team. They needed TyTy healthy and leading them to have any chance to go deep in the tournament. Oscar is going to do his thing. Every other player was flawed. This year more than ever Cal needed to work the puzzle every game on lineups, matchups and playing time. He tried to go to his normal 7 man rotation and this team did not have the talent to do that and win consistently.
