THey talked earlier but Bell schedule didnt meet Belfrys opening and it just couldnt be worked out. From what I hear Belfry has finalized their schedule now just havent got all the contracts back. I heard our last two games are at East Jessimine and then we host Johnson Central.

But I do think down the road most Belfry and Bell fans would like to see this rivarly revisited. I mean I have nothing but respect for them and always cheer for you guys and would be honored to have Belfry get to play them again. I miss the old Belfry and Bell games.

I would love to see this happen! Both have great head coaches and great teams. Year in and year out there isn't 2 more physical teams in the mountains than Bell and Belfry.

What does Bell County need to do to improve in 2007? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

The big key in 2007 for Bell will be up front. Bell must get better on the offensive and defensive lines. Which should happen considering the number of young players who started on both. The Rockastle games last year were decided up front. Rock was bigger and stronger and they used that to their advantage by pounding the ball both games.

Also I look for Bell to run the football more next year than this year. The passing game, however, does need to be more consistent in big games. Bell should be as good next year as they have been the last 3 years or so.

Bell should coast through the district in 07. After that will be tough.

Bell should be loaded
They will be!

I look for Bell to make a run for a state title in the next few years. They are loaded with talent especially young talent. Hilton will have his troops ready to rock and roll in their new 4A class.

Does Bell Co. have any Freshman to watch out for next season.

Bell started some freshman on line last year. Look for that to happen again. Bell is going to be strong this year, and even stronger in 2008. With the new class alignment, Bell should do well. Bell returns a complete team. Their offense is nearly all back and improving every game. The special teams play was led by sophomores last year. Bell's kicking game and return game were key elements last season. They will only get better in the next two years. Bell's defense will surely miss Slusher, but returns nearly everyone else. They will dominate again as well.

So from what I hear Bell will play Sheldon Clark, Tates Creek, Leslie Co. Churchill Volunteer, TN and Lincoln Co. in non-district games. Bell only has 3 home games this year because of Corbin backing out for this season, which was supposed to be a home game. And Leslie Co. threatened to drop Bell if they would have to go to Log Mountain, so Bell is playing Leslie Co. again on the road.

3 HOME GAMES?!?! Ouch, talk about bad luck and misfortune.:scared:

LEslie CO. didn't threaten to drop them, the contract ran out. Duduly came to Leslie last year and said he wouldn't care to come back over here.

The only way Leslie would play Bell is if Bell went back to Leslie Co. Bell wanted them to come to Log Mountain and Bell go back the following year to Leslie Co.
