2 of 5 is not a very good percentage. Bush and Petrino left, but Brohm, Douglas and Urrutia are still here.

Losing a coach like Petrino may be all it takes. Like RP said in another thread, anything less than another trip to the BCS would be a dissapointment. Your at the top right now, there's no place to go but down.

^ that's right, unless they maintain a reasonable chance to make the BCS every year, that would be fine by me.

Still not true. Louisville is on that collision course, and it keeps getting closer.

What?

I think those losses do hurt, but Louisville DID make it to a BCS bowl without Bush this season. So you're really only talking about losing Petrino as far as it never being this good again. And Louisville fans have heard THAT one before...

The top is NOT a one-time appearance in a BCS bowl.

The top is legitimate BCS/National Title contention every year.

The way I see it....

We shall see. I just don't see any way that UL will be better next season than they were this season. Then you have to figure in the talent they will lose next season and it looks like the path is going downhill to me. Time will tell.

^ Without trying to be condescending....how in the world do you see them being worse next year?

New coach, new system. It just depends on how much he changes and how quick the kids learn it. It's hard to repeat what UL did last season two years in a row. Much less with a new coach at the helm.

I think that the season will stay very much the same this next season.

Doyel pegged this one.

This guy is pathetic writing this crap

Anyone else hear the Fox guys keep referring to UL and Wake's seasons as being fairy tale seasons

What now my friend. :sssh: :sssh: :sssh:

UL's fans have a years worth of crow to eat so I won't rub it in to bad.
