Addout, do you think Porter will be available for next week’s district tournament?

Is he out because of knee or leg injury? Watching the pregame he seemed to be walking ok but wasn’t sure of his injury. Villers at times still seems to favor his knee too

Porter has been out since Feb 1 when he re-injured the shoulder that he injured in December in a game at the Marshall County Hoopfest. This time it was against George Washington High, WV. Suppose to be out 2-3 weeks. So hopefully he’s back by the district tournament.

Ok couldn’t remember with all the nicks and bangs they’ve had this year.

Why rush him back for districts, I’d rest til the regional personally they are gonna need him for the long haul to have the success they want.

You have a good point. I know he is out again tonight against Bracken County. Their other all-state player, Cole Villers,  is out too in the Bracken game. Bracken is a good team this season and although the game is at Ashland they will have their hands full with the Polar Bears.

At times Villers has favored his knee in the second half of games. I would’ve thought about resting him after the Russell game.

Any thoughts on why all the problems are occurring, seems to have carried over from last year.

The speed that Porter and Villers play out and always going for the 50/50 balls just caught up to them this year. Hopefully the rest possibly thru district play will have them ready for regionals.
