January 1, 200719 yr Top to bottom the SEC was the best this year. No argument there. Several on here also deserve a plate of crow for what they had to say about the Big 11 a month ago... The Big 11 as a football conference this year is not real good. I will admit that Wisconsin did prove something today. PSU, did some as well, but I think UT is a program in turmoil right now and have dropped from the elite in the SEC. My argument has been the SEC doesn't have the elite team, ala OSU, but from top to bottom it is the best and the Big Ten has 1 great team, 1 really good team, and then Wisconsin. PSU is decent, but the rest of the league is not so good. Matter of factly, more than half of the Big 11 will finish the season with losing records.
