I also don't mind seeing Tennessee lose.

With that said. Tennessee got robbed.  Inside the 3 yard line  in OT and on 4th down Tennessee went for it.  The side line judge (broadcast camera side) whistled the ball dead at the half yard line for stopped forward progress.  Upon review the player wasn't down, the whistle hadn't been blown and the runner reaches out across the goal line, well prior to the whistle.  They said that essentially the play ends when the official determined forward progress had been stopped and not when the whistle was actually blown. So much playing to the whistle.

The whistle does not stop the play....the end of forward progress does....and that is a judgement call.
