Coach Ellison is a 2010 Male grad, and played at WKU and Cumberlands.

He started out as an assistant under Kenneth Walker at Atherton, and then was a DL coach and co-defensive coordinator at Pleasure Ridge Park before taking over as head coach at Iroquois for the 2019 season. He's been assistant head coach at Fern Creek for the past two seasons.

I saw Jeffersontown this season. Numbers were very thin but they had a couple of good skill kids. Coaching at 4A and 5A schools in Louisville is tough because you never know what you’ll have from year to year. Here’s hoping Coach Ellison can build back what was once a very good Chargers program.
