Fair enough. My point is sometimes the other team makes plays and it isn't always lack of focus. I agree. Let's not comment on that idea any further.

No, you cannot spike the ball if you’re in shotgun, have to be under center

  • The Chargers are eating our lunch!

Get a score here and they are still in the game. And I still would not go for 2 points if they get a TD on this drive.

I wouldn't.  The Chargers figure to score more and we need all the points we can get, I will take the 1.

Good job a touchdown run by Burrow really needed that!

Evan hooked that one through.

Chargers 24 Bengals 13

This one is far, far from over.

Good job but with 2:40 still to play in the half need a stop here and not allow any points here by the Chargers.

Untouched into the end zone. Lack of focus by LA.

Burrow frustrated because he knew he could not take that snap with whatever is going on with his finger. Will the Bengals use a QB rotation in the second half? I don't think Burrow can go under the center and take a snap. He needs to try a glove on his hand at halftime and see if that helps.

Burrow seemed ticked at Taylor the way the end of the half ended.

See above. I think he was mad because he is frustrated by his hand and didn't want to risk taking a snap. Completing that pass the play before that with no chance to get out of bounds and stop the clock hurt.

It looked like he lost track of downs because he called to spike it and got to the line and realized it was 3rd down and did not have time to call a play. I personally would have a spiked it and on 4th down took a shot at the endzone to end the half. Hey but at least we did recover some and if we can score to start the 3rd we will be good not sure what Burrow did to his little finger on his throwing hand but it really seems to be bothering him.

If that is the case at the end of the half, not being able to go under center, that should have already been known and/or Burrow should have lined up in the shotgun and clocked.  And I assume you are allowed to do that?
