Bengals need to start running their offense backwards. Passes on first down and runs on second and third. Chargers are loading up against the run on first down. Run against them in passing situations and Mixon is going to get some good gains.

That was a stupid move by the Chargers going for 2 but it worked. I never, ever chase points in the first half of a game.

He doesn't have club hands but I do think that play was the most important play in the game.

I don't understand it either, what if you get your QB hurt in a situation like that, you would get run out of town as the head coach.

His pass catching technique is terrible. Half the time he catches passes trapping the ball against his body. His hands are below average from what I have seen so far. He rarely catches the ball properly in front of him with his hands.

Based on charts all teams have that was the time to go for it if you want to or not since going up 22-0 already put you up 3 scores even if you don't make it. that is probably why they decided to go for it then and not the time before.

Agree to disagree. 90% of the time when someone says a team was flat, it is just because they are getting outplayed. Turnovers are an absolute killer. Those two early turnovers have much more to do with what is happening in this game than any lack of mental focus. The second factor is the injuries are hurting. Third, Bengals coaching staff has not adjusted the offense. They have been great this year at halftime but first half coaching has been lacking most of the year.
