Televisions

The big differences anymore are for the gamers who still use TV’s to game on.  The casual guy watching the game will never really notice a difference on any 4K TV.

I agree gaming is a separate category.

When it comes to TVs, I believe they nearly all have superior technology to the "signals" coming into them.  I am painting with a broad brush but my point is all the bells and whistles in the world don't matter when the incoming signal is a couple of fries short of a happy meal.

I am not a gamer, so that doesn't matter to me.   My kids game, but they aren't into it so hardcore that they would notice things like that.

Compress it enough so you can get 500 channels instead of 50, then blow it up onto a 75 or 85" screen and you are bound to lose something in the transfer.

Captain, we need more bandwidth!

I have a 65” Samsung downstairs and a 55” LG upstairs. I can’t tell any difference between them. For comparison sake, I have a cheap 42” RCA outside on my deck that I’m perfectly happy with. As long as you’re at least 1080 resolution, I don’t think you can go wrong. It’s just a question of how many bells and whistles you want.
