Number matter to a point, it just makes your margin of error really small. You just need your players to be good, and you have to stay healthy.

Numbers are a big issue and as is the "why" the numbers are way down in such a big school. The performance on the field as well.

There's a lot going on in that area with high school football. Some of it will probably come to more light after the season, but it's not hard to find out either.  Just ask around or talk to some people around the program.
