Glasgow at Adair County Predictions/Updates

Its a big district matchup this week between the 5-1 Scotties and 5-1 Indians. Last week Adair County won 21-7 at Hart County while Glasgow took care of a good Greenwood team 37-16. Both of these teams run a lot of Wing T offense and Glasgow will have the superior athletes but Adair has been really physical running the ball downhill and got their passing game going last week.

Scotties with a running clock although I do think Adair can score but after seeing Barren Co run the ball pretty easily against Adair in the second half they’re going to have a heck of a time stopping the Scotties running game.

Green County moved the ball really well against Adair in the scrimmage, and I expect Glasgow to do the same. Glasgow is more than likely a better team than Green County, so this could be tough for Adair. Adair has some nice pieces and I think will play close for a quarter or two, but Glasgow pulls away and wins something like 38-6.

I like both these teams.  Adair has done really well this season and looks to have a very solid team this year.  So does Glasgow.  

I just think this is a bad matchup for the Indians.  Glasgow just has more athletes and being well coached should be able to exploit that.  That's what football is about.

Glasgow's win last week at Greenwood is really impressive to me as this may be one of the better Greenwood teams in a little while.
