Absolute clinic by Ashland. Their hands were everywhere forcing seventeen turnovers (thirteen were steals). And then they made seemingly every shot. Only concern was Porter appeared to injure his ankle late in the third quarter. He was moving around the bench area gingerly. Something to keep an eye on tomorrow.

I hope the Porter kid is alright. He has brought his team this far and deserves to play. While I'm pulling for the Bluebirds, I only want them to beat an Ashland team at full strength. It would be really sad if he has to sit out.

Ashland reaches it's 14th Semi-final, second most in tournament history.

Congrats Tomcats!

Sad to see Boyle go down, but winning a game at the state tournament is still a nice accomplishment for the season.

It'd be a nice story for Ashland to go all the way since their undefeated year last year was interrupted by COVID.

Ashland is a very good and complete team. Hope the point guard is OK. He makes them go. Boyle's lack of a true point guard was really exposed in this game. They are a gritty team but Ashland coming out on fire and playing tough defense put this game away very early. You can see why they are like 50 and 4 over the last 2 years.
