The fourth region rep has lost the last eight times they were matched up with a Louisville region rep (6th or 7th). The last time a team from the 4th beat a Louisville team in the Sweet 16 was when Me

Bowling Green is 4/18 from three.  That to me is THE stat.

I find it interesting to note that Ballard is a 33% team from three on the year but seem to shoot an inordinate amount from outside.  That struck me in the Madison Central game late as well.  They're

19 all with 3 left in the half.

Ballard 30 - BG 26 at the half

Gabe Sisk for Ballard with 16

Buttry for BG with 9.

Good game!

30-26 Ballard at the break.  Bowling Green has trailed in the second half this postseason a total of around 20-25 seconds, so they'll be in a slightly unfamiliar spot there.

True, but they are alot closer this game than the last time they played at halftime.

Maker Bar hasn't attempted a single shot.  That doesn't seem like a winning strategy when he is easily their best matchup advantage, averages 15.2 PPG, and makes 57% of his shots.

Bowling Green has missed an uncharacteristic amount so far as well.  And Buttry missing free throws during this tournament is the most shocking thing for me.

This has easily been the best game of the tournament so far. It's been very entertaining.

It's been a heck of a good game so far. The refs are allowing a lot of physical play. I hope they stay consistent in the 2nd half.

I'm extremely interested to see how each team comes out from the half.
