I wasn't there, but I heard the JV game was 73-36.

:thumb: UGLY.

In Darius' defense, he was hit virtually every time he got the ball down low. Officials let a lot go under the basket. He seemed to get frustrated when his shot wouldn't fall, but still rebounded and played defense; finally came to life on the offensive end later on. Setty stepped up, solid game from Middleton as well. Scott had a few key baskets also, and stayed with #23 for most of the game. I did think it was a little silly for West Union to be fouling with a minute and a half to play down 20; but some coaches play it that way - never conceding anything.

#23 for West Union is a nice little player, fairly quick and a good long-range shooter. #44 and #33 have some size and aren't bad around the basket, but each could have fouled out twice had the game been called more closely. Not saying the game was called unfairly, just let a lot go.

A much more entertaining contest than some thought it would be, West Union brought a very nice crowd with them tonight. It's obvious that they're behind this team, which should be competitive in their league. Too much depth and speed for Mason tonight which was to be expected.

I personally was at the game and was upset, i was hoping to see Mason loose this one. Yea Darius might have been hit a little bit down low but what player doesnt get hit while in the middle. You just have to suck it up and play. Setty was the reason i went to the game i was hearing alot about this young kid and wanted to see what he looked like now. I have to say i was impressed by his shooting. Middleton looked tough taking it in now glad to see that, but upset Pawset didnt get it much.

Was very impressed by #23 from West Union he had range and could handle it. There for a while he seemed to take over for WU, and hes not afraid to take it on the big guys. As for #33 and #44 size is a good statement but i liked how 44 could handle it and shoot the three pointer. Hope to see these kids play again this year. And i was very impressed on the crowd that was brought with them. You can really tell that the community is really behind this team. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH West Union AND Mason Co.

Anyone know what was going on with Miller tonight.....

Not sure what the deal was with Miller (19 pts 14 rebs) but UC's Mick Cronin was in attendance and came away impressed. He was very interested in Miller. Also there was an assistant coach from Wisconsin.

Not sure but my source told me he was there. Won't take you long to figure out my source there will it mhighfield?

What does Miller think of all the attention? I mean, he gets Tubby Smith, Bruce Pearl, Mick Cronin, and there has been more. Is the rest of the team more excited about it than Darius?

Just another walk in the park for the Royals.

Everyone is excited but not letting it go to their heads. Darius is such a level headed young man that it is not even funny.

BIG 10-4 they had all of it with LOFTON

Must admit i thougth the game would be alot more one sided but a win is a win. Also glad to see that Trevor Setty has seemed to find his shot. Really was a tight game until about 5 minutes left in the third when West Union started fouling hard and often, after that it was a clear break away for the Royals.

Royals 8-0:dancingpa

Formlyknownas may I ask why you wanted to see the Royals Lose
