Well always good to have some confidence going into the SEC tournament. They are basically locked in to the 8/9 game, unless something drastic changes. So they will have a very tough path. However, this team has played the best teams close, now they have to find away to win them or their season is over.

Good win today though, and it’s the type of win they needed to build some confidence going into the tournament.

Cal made some comments after the game, basically suggesting that it could be a very good thing for Boston if he were to return. I guess that kind of goes against the whole Cal always tells players they have to leave thing, that someone started a thread about.

Didn't watch this one until last night. We will quickly move on from this season and I am sure always not remember how improved Boston got over time. I hated on him quite a bit but he has really come on.

Another player that would have probably had things click sooner with better PG play.

I agree I think Boston would have benefited from a strong PG. Though that could be said about most players on any team. He has improved, but I am refraining from losing my mind over Saturday's game. He was knocking down perimeter shots, something he hasn't been doing consistently. We shall see if that was a blip or trend. Hopefully it is a confidence boost but his game will step up to me when he is able to take on contact and get to the line.

Toppin replaced Askew in the lineup, which moved Mitz to the point.

It is apparent Cal loves Toppin. I think he see a lot of potential with his athleticism and ability to guard any position.
