Douglass Football 2020 Colleges and University's Recruiting Douglass Players

Attached is a photo attachment showing the logos of all 135 college's and universities who recruited Douglass football players this season. A very impressive list.

2020, 2019.

Don't know about 2019 that Cov Cath team was nasty.. but for sure should've last year IMO. Almost got beat in the region championship. Anytime you have a team with as much talent as they do not winning it all is kind of a let down.

I agree the 2019 CCH team was very good and although the teams were evenly matched CovCath had the best player on the field so I think the better team won.

Last year Freddie D had a bad loss to Owensboro in the semi-finals and Bowling Green was a good amount better than the Red Devils in the finals.

So to come full circle I don't agree with @laketime85 on FD winning the title the last couple of years.

From a pure talent perspective no one in 5a has had more talent then FD. Best player? Maybe not. Most talented team, not close.

Are you saying the issue at Douglass is coaching?

Covington Catholic was the slightly better team in 2019 and proved it on the field. As for 2020, Douglass probably should have beat Owensboro. However, they also struggled with Southwestern the round before. And Bowling Green was playing so well by the end of the year that I'm not sure anyone in 5A, including Douglass, could have beat them.
