UK has to win out to be a .500 team. We know that ain't happening. Now they could lose out...

That said, are they still planning to have conference tournaments? That seems risky, but what do I know?

Just curious but how is it any riskier than what they've been doing the last few months?  Just because they aren't days in between games for additional testing?

When a team travels they have what, 30 people make the trip? Multiply that by 14 teams, that is 420 people. It is more so about accommodating for the additional people. Locker room space would probably have to be deep cleaned between uses, etc. My wife was just in Nashville and the downtown crowd treats it as if COVID is non-existent. There are games being cancelled nightly, now we are asking 14 teams to converge on a destination. What do you do if a team has to cancel their third round game because of a positive test? I am not worried about the health of the players, but with the protocols in place, a lot can go wrong, when the real goal is to get teams COVID free to the NCAA tournament.

On balance, some teams get a bye and can come late, and the player crowd gets cut in half each day.
