bugatti Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 UK has to win out to be a .500 team. We know that ain't happening. Now they could lose out... That said, are they still planning to have conference tournaments? That seems risky, but what do I know?

Just curious but how is it any riskier than what they've been doing the last few months? Just because they aren't days in between games for additional testing?

It is more so about accommodating for the additional people. Locker room space would probably have to be deep cleaned between uses, etc. My wife was just in Nashville and the downtown crowd treats it as if COVID is non-existent. There are games being cancelled nightly, now we are asking 14 teams to converge on a destination. What do you do if a team has to cancel their third round game because of a positive test? I am not worried about the health of the players, but with the protocols in place, a lot can go wrong, when the real goal is to get teams COVID free to the NCAA tournament. On balance, some teams get a bye and can come late, and the player crowd gets cut in half each day. 1

16thBBall Fan Posted February 10, 2021 Author Posted February 10, 2021 Arkansas leads the Cats 36-35 at the half.
16thBBall Fan Posted February 10, 2021 Author Posted February 10, 2021 Cats down 7 with just under 8 to play. Hey maybe they will do better being behind down the stretch instead of having a lead.😀
nikeman49 Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Cal has lost all control of this team, didn’t really have much anyway.
16thBBall Fan Posted February 10, 2021 Author Posted February 10, 2021 Cats get cut back to 4 and of course again Boston gives a direct drive straight to the basket for a layup.
