If all above is true, Warren Central missed out on a great young hire. He will be a great option for any HS Program looking for someone who can build a program from the ground up. This won’t be the last time you hear his name in the coaches circuit. He’s definitely a hometown hero.

Do not know Coach Clark, but Warren Central hiring Mark Nelson is a home run hire for them. Coach Nelson is a proven winner as a high school head coach. 
 

Coach Clark time is coming if what you describe him as is true but they made the correct hire imo.

If it is indeed Mark Nelson, my hope is that Tyreon Clark is retained within the program in some fashion.  At bare minimum, that he remains at the middle school program.

One advantage Nelson brings beyond experience is likely assistants.  That's been as big an issue for the Dragons recently as any - little experience in their assistant coaching staff.
