Haven't seen anything official yet, but piecing together other schedules. This may be the hardest pound for pound Non-District schedule in the State:

NON-DISTRICT

8/20- Pulaski County (at Southwestern, Don Franklin Bowl)

8/28- Covington Catholic (Pike County Bowl at Belfry) 

9/3- Lexington Christian Academy

9/10- Central

9/17- Pikeville

10/29- Johnson Central

 

DISTRICT (Assuming same weeks as last year)

9/24- Magoffin County

10/1-  at Floyd Central

10/15- Lawrence County

10/22- at Pike Central

 

Considering this is probably going to be the most "down" Belfry has been in a decade, to say this is an under taking is quite the understatement. To add to it, this will be the best Belfry's District mates have been in several years. Lawrence County and Pike Central both return among some of the most experience as any team in Class 3A.

What a home schedule though!

I realize you said you're just piecing things together right now...but Belfry was only able to put together a nine game schedule in 2019, and what we're seeing here currently is only nine games. Any chance Belfry is able to pick their series back up against Archbishop Alter?

Okay, you're right. Haha, I guess I ran out of fingers when I was counting up the number of games, or something like that.

BREAKING NEWS...
Belfry running back Isaac Dixon, who was offered a preferred walk-on at West Virginia University, has reclassified to the Class of 2022, meaning he will return to high school for one more year.

Dixon is confirmed and I have heard there may be a couple other starters who will be returning as well.

Dixon's return alone takes Belfry from a rebuilding year to being a factor in the State Title picture.

 

That's huge news.  

I hope the reward is worth the risk.  

Spencer and Cameron Hensley are planning to use the new rule.

Spencer will be returning for an additional Senior Season. Cameron will be reclassifying and will now be a Junior once more.

Both were starters last season.
