Trinity High School Announces 2007 Football Schedule

Trinity High School athletic director Dennis Lampley announced the school’s 2007 football schedule. Some familiar rivals appear, along with several new faces, including two Lexington powers.

A planned home-and-home series with Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville had to be canceled due to changes in schedule formats in Kentucky and Tennessee. Trinity is very pleased that a two-year agreement could be formalized with Cincinnati St. Xavier.

Friday, Aug. 31 – Bowling Green at Trinity, 8 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 7 – Butler at Trinity, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 14 – Trinity at Cincinnati St. Xavier, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 21 – Eastern at Trinity, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 28 – Louisville St. Xavier vs. Trinity at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, 8 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 5 – Trinity at Ballard, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 12 – Trinity at Pleasure Ridge Park, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 19 – Seneca at Trinity, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 26 – Lexington Paul Dunbar at Trinity, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 2 – Trinity at Lexington Lafayette, 7:30 p.m.

I agree, excellent schedule. I am also glad to see BG, PLD, and Lafayette stepping up.

I think the Trinity fans will enjoy Cincy X's athletic complex. It is most impressive.

Tough schedule. Well done, Rocks.

Nice schedule. Glad to hear the Rocks will be up here in the neighborhood. Just wish it was over here on the good side of the pond. ;)

I read Cincy X returns 16 starters, from the Ohio Region IV D-I runner team. Should be a good test for the Rocks.

I agree, excellent schedule. I am also glad to see BG, PLD, and Lafayette stepping up.

Thanks ru. I hope I am saying that on Oct. 27 next year. Kidding aside, that type of competition only makes you better. :thumb:

A first class, rugged schedule. The X addition is the crown jewel, but an improving PRP and Butler add two classy programs. Bowling Green's defense, at least the last two years, has been quick and tough.
