nWo
Here's the outlook for the first day of the state football championships. For Friday look for partly to mostly cloudy skies for Friday afternoon into the night time hours. As of now little to no chance for precipitation. The temperatures will start in the low 30s for the first game with wind-chills in the high 20s. For the second game temp will rise to the mid 30s. The wind-chill should be low 30s. For the early evening game look for temps to range from the mid to upper 30s and wind-chill in the low 30s. The evening game will see temps fall to the low 30s around the start of the game. The wind-chill will make it feel like it is in the low 20s.
nWo
For Saturday look for widely scattered light showers. They will be hit and miss and for now don't look like too much of a nuisance. Temperatures will be warmer than on Friday starting out ranging from the high 30s to low 40s. For Saturday evening the temps will be in the low 40s. I know this is not much because Saturday is at the very end of the NAM run so I can't get a detailed outlook for Saturday like Friday this evening. I will update both tomorrow. . 1

The high resolution ECWMF is but the major difference is the NAM is every three hours where the high resolution ECWMF is every six hours between frames.

nWo
The weather looks to be pretty good for high school football this weekend. The good thing is that now it looks like the rain will hold off Saturday until the last game is over. Temps look to be seasonable for this time of year. Friday the temps will start out around the time of the first game in the low 30s and reach a high in the 40's by late afternoon. Wind-chills will be negligible until the sun sets each evening. Friday the wind-chill will be in the high to mid 20s. Saturday looks to be even warmer. Temps look to be in the mid 30s around the time the first game kicks off with the high reaching the upper 40s. Wind-chill will be better than Friday. It probably won't be felt until around the end of the last game where the wind could make it feel like it is in the low 30s to high 20s. Once again the rain looks to hold off until all the games have been played. I will definitly update everyone in the morning. On a side note, will there be a white Christmas for Kentucky next week? Check the weather forum later this evening for a possible first outlook. ❄️ 1

nWo
Here's the forecast for today's games. Look for cloudy skies with a possible quick break in the clouds this afternoon. This may warm the temperatures up a couple of degrees. Today's high should be in the mid to upper 40s. The wind-chill will make it feel just a couple of degrees cooler. As of this morning it appears that the rain will not move into the Lexington area until around 10-11 pm tonight. If there are any changes in when the rain arrives I will post it in this thread.
