What Is This Tubby???

Featured Replies

I'm failing to see the big deal I suppose. They specifically say that Calipari was using it at Memphis at the same time, and some of you are salivating to have him take over the reigns.

I just think it is funny, not that TUBBY is doing it, but that so many are doing it. I agree brain stimulation is important, but I think there are better ways to go about it (doing classwork). If they think it is helping then keep using it. I just don't think that by playing that video game, Florida won it all last year.

A common complaint of college athletes is that they don't have time for schoolwork. I guess saving the world from aliens is more important.

Some of these responses are ridiculous. It's an extra exercise for helping them...you're acting like they're banking on it to win games. Take the anti-Tubby glasses off.

I think Tubby is a great coach. I just enjoyed one of the responses above to tell Billy Donovan and his national championship that it isn't working.

Give me a break man....You're blowing this way out of proportion.

Far from saying you post too much or calling your posts out because you didn't agree with me...

Spin it anyway you want.

Accuse me of spin and you say Tubby with no final 4s with his players is good.

OK...let's just agree to disagree and see what happens tomorrow. Both teams' fans are frustrated, neither team can afford another loss right now, so for sure one group of fans is going to be livid by this time tomorrow...

I didn't say UK struggled because of Intelligym, I said they struggled because instead of shooting or lifting during practice time, they're playing video games. There are many brain stimulation methods that can be used other than a video game, which could've possibly been helpful in keeping Shagari in school. Also, if you think Florida won it all because they used this game, there is no point in carrying on a conversation with you.:sssh:

Yea, that's it the video game made Flordia win it all. Don't you think that this system was implemented in addition to the other things that they do. Do you really think that I would believe that Tubby or Billy D would use this system in lue of shooting drills.

You bashers began this thread trying to make Tubby look like a fool for using the system. I'm mearly pointing out that the system is used by several coaches, some of them who have been highly successful recently.

Tubby isn't failing because of a video game, he's failing because the program has ceased to be one of the top programs under his watch.

Calm down!

:thumb: Agreeing to disagree if fair enough. I will agree with you on that ;) . Both of us I believe really want the same thing and that is the Wildcats back on top. We just have different ideas and opinions on what needs to be done. I will still support Tubby regardless of what happens tommorrow. Yes, if U.K. loses I will be very upset bc U.L. is a bitter rival and my favorite team is whoever plays U.L. and not bc of Tubby.

Calm down!
