December 16, 200619 yr Author Wow, this thread got blown out of proportion. First off, I'm not a Tubby basher. I support him 100%. I beleive he is one of the top tier coaches in the NCAA. I started this thread because I thought this method was a little "out there." IMO, this video game has NO way of making a player better. I think staying in the gym to work on free throws and your form on your shot or lifting weights makes you a better player. As for the decision making part, I don't see it on the basketball court.
December 16, 200619 yr If IntelliGym if why UK has struggled recently, perhaps someone should ask Billy Donovan why his team used it last year. :sssh: It is amazing how some people look for any reason to try to make Tubby look bad. Besides UK and Flordia, this program is also being used by UConn, Kansas, Purdue, Iowa, Memphis, Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon, Missour, Cal, Long Beach St., Marquette, Flordia St., St. Joe, and Evansville. But then again Tubby is a fool. Hey whatever works. As long as we put up a win of those dogonne cards in about 8 hours I will be happy!

I'm with you, I thought it was a funny method of getting better and somehow that makes me a Tubby basher. I too think he is one of the best coaches in the game.
