Irresistible force meets immovable object

Whatever district Central calls home, be it in 3A or 4A, they've ruled it with an iron fist for over a decade. Their stranglehold was threatened by Franklin County last year, when the Flyers went into the heart of Louisville and tagged the Yellow Jackets with their first district loss in thirteen years. Central went on to exact revenge in the playoffs and claim the district title anyway, but the message had been sent... the Flyers were a force to be reckoned with.

Nick Broyles once again leads a high flying offensive machine into Jefferson County to take one last shot at piercing Central's seemingly impenetrable defense. The Jackets have been Franklin County's kryptonite the last two years. In 2019, the Flyers averaged 48 points per game against everyone not named Central, but could only muster 10.5 ppg in two games against the Yellow Jackets. This year, they've scored 45 a game in their six wins, but Central held them to 16 in Week 7. In the battle between the irresistible force (FC's offense) and the immovable object (Central's D), the immovable object is 3-0 so far.
