Without doing any research, some other names that might fall into line down the list:    Joe Federspiel, Will Wolford,  Lenny Lyles,  Sam Ball,  Rodger Bird and Irv Goode.   A guy who is still playing in the NFL (I think) but has been under the radar for years is Larry Warford.

Yeesh, I had him in my head at one point, but completely left him out when I put my honorable mentions in there. He'd be at the top of my honorable mention list.

Nope, he was Cincinnati born-and-raised. My grandpa knew Staubach's dad through Catholic War Vets. My grandpa was the KY state commander of CWV for a handful of years, and Staubach's dad was very involved in CWV in Cincinnati.

Roger played at Purcell High School (now Purcell Marian after merging with Marian HS in the early-80s).
