Who is talking about third string players? By the way every where I have played or coached all the players felt appreciated.

 

If a coach is to the point where he is feeling down and unappreciated, he had better get over it quick (or resign). Because you are right it is not about the score on friday nights and it is definately not about the coach. It is about the kids.

 

Coaching is sometimes and I would even say in most cases a thankless and tough job. If your are prone to sulking then it may not be for you. If you can not take feeling unappreciated then it may not be for you.
