Mayfield played lights out after his terrible start.  He had to to win this game.  I was going to be very angry if they lost.  The series where I was about to explode was when the Brown's DB missed an easy interception with the ball in his hands.  That allowed the Bengals to get a first down.  Then the Browns DBs failed to tackle AJ Green and let him get extra yards.  Then they failed to tackle the receiver who scored the TD.  The Browns defense is just horrible.  I knew it before the season started and every week it is the same story.  The Browns offense has to score 35-40 points every week to win.  Everyone trashes Mayfield but he isn't the worst part of this team.  Today, you saw a Mayfield who rose to the occasion because he has competitive fire.  He needs to take his receiving core out for a steak dinner this week because they were absolutely amazing down the stretch.

Mayfield is a bum. The 2 best passes thrown all year were by Landry.

All that is but also two of the Browns TD's came when they were facing 3rd and 4 and twice the Bengals were called for offsides giving Cleveland first downs.

Like I said, the D is not one bit better than last year and that’s just amazing!!  I’ve got NFL Sunday ticket, think I’ll start watching other games when the D is on the field and watch my Bengs when they’ve got it, just don’t understand how the D can be that bad AGAIN, 2 weeks in a row they can’t rush the passer when they KNOW he’s gonna throw it!!

Losers talk.

I agree those stats is more of what it says about the Bengals defense I guarantee you he will not put up numbers like that the rest of the season.

If I hear one more time how great Baker was after his rough start, I’m going to lose it. The rough start is Baker. Every QB that is contracted by an NFL team would have put up decent numbers against the Bengals invisible pass rush.

That’s cute considering Baker is the biggest talker in the league.

I did not realize this but after starting the game 0-5 passing Mayfield against our defense went 22-23 for 297 and 5 touchdowns.

And I think the one incompletion was a clock.

Baker Mayfield is at best the 4th best QB currently in the state of Ohio. Burrow> Fields > Ridder> Mayfield.

The next thing you're going to say is, "Wait 'til next year!"

Isn’t that the motto on the welcome to Cleveland sign? Or wait doesn’t the sign actually read, “Why are you in Cleveland?”

Bengals have scored 34 pts, 30 pts and 27 pts in 3 different games and lost every game!!  This team should EASILY be 5-2

Yep. The Chargers game should’ve at least went to overtime. Should’ve beat the Eagles. Blew a 21 point lead last week. Should’ve beat Cleveland today. We have to start winning the close games. I don’t know what the solution is, but no team should be this bad in close games.
