Per the Kentucky New Era, Coach Stovall is moving into a new District AD position. Varsity assistant Caleb Nelson has been named interim HC.

Does anyone know of Coach Nelson's experience? Is he a front-runner for the position? Do the Colonels typically cast a wide net when hiring?

I believe former Lyon County head coach Jeff Embry is an assistant at Christian County. Given the talent he would have to work with there he could have a lot of success as the HC

Last word was they formed a search committee and was taking applications from far and near.  Solid group of underclassmen returning so the cupboard is not bare. 

Hearing hire may be announced tomorrow. With all the big names expected to have applied, the choice will be a shocker.

Why do a nationwide search if you are going to hire a shocker, as what I am inferring is not someone who many thought might get it???
