Zack Klemme is reporting that Brett Cooksey has resigned as head coach at Fairview to take a teaching position and assistant basketball coach at Russell.

In my opinion this would be a good job for someone looking to get a start as a head coach.

Assistant Coach Jake Leibee should get a shot at this position. He has done a great job with the JV, and he has a great rapport with the kids. Not to mention he is a Fairview Grad, and a lifelong Westwoodian.
