Greene's a good kid and a decent baller, but he’s in for a long night under a human eclipse named Selby.

 

On the other hand, Boyd has no answer for the 16th's smallest "big man" Ferguson who will show up with his work boots, hardhat and a thermos of coffee ready to go to work like a lumberjack on a pogo-stick.

 

Elliott will have a challenge inside, and if Maynard and the twins get the hot hand, Boyd will face a challenge from the outside.

 

Should be a great game.

 

Elliott hits some shots early and gets into any kind of rhythm, of if Ferguson’s activity in the paint can draw Selby into foul trouble I’ll take Elliott by 10-15.

 

Boyd disrupts Elliott’s outside shooting and controls the boards I’ll take Boyd by 10.

 

At this point in the season, this one has a good chance of ending up going down to the wire, like the Ashland game.

Boyd's inside game is their strength, and if Elliot is not hitting their shots, Boyd will be in great shape, but the probable outcome is Elliots speed will wear out Boyd County and they will pull away in the second half

Nice post. Very true. This game is nearly impossible to predict and be anywhere close to right. Boyd will be in the same shape they were with Ashland. Elliot will try to run the whole game, and Boyd will try to slow it down. Furgeson will cause problems all night. If he's able to get Boyds big men in foul trouble this one could get ugly. If Boyd controls the boards and is able to slow things down as they did against Ashland it should be a great game.

This should be a good game to see what kind of team Boyd really has. While the win against Ashland was nice to see, I think elliot is a MUCH better team at this point in the season than Ashland is.

With the game being at Boyd County, I'll say Elliott wins 58-56. I think Boyd has made an impressive showing thus far this season and will possibly make it to Morehead in March, but I feel like Elliott still has a little more experience and a little more talent, so I'll give them the edge.

Boyd is a better and balanced team this year and will get better,If Elliott can run then It will be A long night for BC but after last night they seem to know how to control the tempo.They kept Ashland from playing there game.
