February 9, 20206 yr I enjoyed the games yesterday. I really like the kickoff and extra point rules. I found the games pretty entertaining. The new kickoff rules, while looking strange, seemed to work well. There were familiar names playing, and the games seemed fast and physical. The extra point rules are fun, and will almost make it impossible for a game to end up tied at the end of regulation. I'm definitely tuning in for todays games.
February 9, 20206 yr Author Today will tell us a lot more. Dallas has to dominate being they are suppose to be the best team. Tampa Bay and New York should be (I.M.O.) A hard fought close game. The Tampa Bay/ New York game (Again I.M.O.) will be close because I am not sold on either especially with New York starting Matt McGloin (QB) and Tampa starting Aaron Murray (QB). I do not see either being a starter for long.
February 9, 20206 yr Gotta say, I love the transparency on instant replay. It's refreshing to see the level of communication and the thought process of the officials when making these decisions. This would be great for the NFL, especially with the PI challenges.
February 10, 20206 yr Gotta say, I love the transparency on instant replay. It's refreshing to see the level of communication and the thought process of the officials when making these decisions. This would be great for the NFL, especially with the PI challenges. Ref accountability, I love it.
February 10, 20206 yr Ref accountability, I love it. It’s not even so much about accountability. I just like the ability to hear the thought process, how the rule is being applied, and knowing what they actually saw. I’m looking for refs heads when they screw up...just more understanding about the process. I watched 4 games and not once was there a call that after hearing the process and discussion that I didn’t at least understand. If anything, it makes me much more sympathetic to what they do. The NFL needs to adopt this transparency today.
February 14, 20206 yr May watch the first hour or so of the Tampa Bay/Seattle game. Could have 2 former USF quarterbacks starting, B.J. Daniels for Seattle and Quinton Flowers for the Vipers. However, the Lightning game starts at 4 and we are going to see the SCHC Champion USF Ice Bulls take on Miami in their final match of the regular season before they head off to the nationals. Sorry, but the NFL does not even get preference over that.
February 15, 20206 yr I'll be watching the late game today and tomorrows games. I was entertained last week. I hope this works out, because this really hits the spot for me. I'm not a huge college basketball fan, so this fills in the blanks for me in the time between the NFL ending and MLB beginning.
February 16, 20206 yr Author I.M.O. through the games played so far, I think New York then Tampa has the worse QB units and both will struggle all season long. Thoughts?
February 16, 20206 yr I.M.O. through the games played so far, I think New York then Tampa has the worse QB units and both will struggle all season long. Thoughts? It's easy to single out QB's, but the o-line play in the league hasn't been very good. It's pretty clear, it's not so hard to find good D-lineman, and decent o-lineman are much harder to find. QB's are constantly under pressure, and getting hit, which is, IMO, what is causing some of the lackluster QB play. The teams that have mobile QB's are the teams that have looked the best in this league.

I know Q threw a pick 6 in his only series, yesterday, but it was his only series. He moved the team last week, something Murray could not do. It's causing somewhat of a revolt already in Tampa. Twitter was filled with Fire Tresman tweets last evening. Let Flowers start and prove he can't run the team, then the fans will get off your back Tres. Besides, Quinton is used to playing in front of a small crowd in Raymond James Stadium.
February 16, 20206 yr Author When, if Tampa Bay starts Chase Litton then I think they will have found their answer.
February 16, 20206 yr Author If they expand where do you want them to go. For me. I want Oregon and New Mexico to start (Have thought about this and changed my mind a few times). Then in year three, the 2nd expand I am hoping Ohio and Pa.
